About This Position
Join Beca Limited as a Project Manager in Christchurch, delivering strategic projects for public and private sector clients across the South Island and nationally. This full‑time role offers the chance to work within a dynamic team of 35 project and programme professionals and collaborate with a national network of 180+ experts.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution and delivery of diverse projects, ensuring they meet scope, schedule and budget targets.
- Partner with clients to develop project strategies, risk registers and governance frameworks.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, both locally and across Beca’s national PS&D network.
- Provide advisory services on programme management, cost control and performance reporting.
- Maintain strong stakeholder relationships, facilitating clear communication and issue resolution.
Essential Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualification in project management, engineering, business or related field.
- Proven experience managing complex projects in the public or private sector.
- Strong knowledge of PMBOK, PRINCE2 or Agile methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel within the South Island and occasional national travel.
