About This Position
We are seeking a detail‑oriented Project Estimator for AQUINAS MANAGEMENT SERVICES in Fort Worth, Tarrant County, TX. This exempt role creates accurate construction estimates that become the cornerstone contract document for project success.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive cost estimates for construction projects using detailed plans, specifications, and material take‑offs.
- Analyze building methods, materials, and sequencing to forecast labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
- Prepare and present bid proposals, ensuring estimates align with client budgets and company profitability goals.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to verify scope and identify potential cost‑saving opportunities.
- Maintain up‑to‑date cost databases and stay informed on market price fluctuations.
- Provide timely estimations that influence project scale, schedule, and financial outcomes.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience as a construction estimator or similar role.
- Strong understanding of building methods, materials, and construction sequencing.
- Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Proficiency with estimating software (e.g., ProEst, Sage Estimating) and Microsoft Excel.
- Effective communication skills for presenting estimates to internal teams and clients.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
