Program Director – Preschool

Montessori Association of Covina is seeking a Program Director – Preschool to lead its early childhood programs in Whittier, Los Angeles County. This full‑time role oversees multiple sites, ensuring high‑quality Montessori and early childhood education for children birth‑through‑5.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and day‑to‑day management for preschool sites across the San Gabriel Valley and Greater Los Angeles.
• Implement Montessori and early childhood curricula, maintaining compliance with state licensing and accreditation standards.
• Hire, train, and mentor teachers and support staff, fostering a collaborative professional culture.
• Develop and monitor annual budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility while meeting program goals.
• Engage families and community partners to promote enrollment, parent education, and outreach initiatives.
• Analyze program data and outcomes to drive continuous improvement and report to the executive team.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Montessori Education, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in preschool or early childhood settings, preferably with Montessori methodology.
