NavitasPartners is hiring a Product Manager in Washington, DC for a 6‑month contract. You will lead the strategy, design, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of security solutions across cloud, on‑premise, and hybrid environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Define product vision and roadmap for security engineering initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate security requirements into technical specifications.
- Oversee the design, implementation, testing, and rollout of security solutions.
- Manage product lifecycle, including monitoring performance, handling incidents, and driving continuous improvement.
- Prioritize feature backlog based on risk assessments, stakeholder input, and market trends.
- Communicate product status, risks, and milestones to senior leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- 3+ years of product management experience, preferably in security or IT infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), on‑premise security tools, and hybrid architectures.
- Proven ability to work with engineering, compliance, and operations teams.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS.
- Hands‑on knowledge of firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and vulnerability management tools.
- Agile/Scrum product development experience.
Compensation
Annual salary: $121,201.04 (fixed for the 6‑month term).
