Procurement Specialist

Sedna Digital Solutions LLC is seeking a Procurement Specialist for its Manassas, Prince William County, VA office. This full‑time, exempt role offers a salary of $81,098.52 and requires DoD Secret clearance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for hardware, software, and professional services.
• Manage the end‑to‑end procurement cycle, including requisition, vendor selection, contract negotiation, and purchase order issuance.
• Maintain compliance with federal acquisition regulations and internal policies.
• Collaborate with finance, legal, and program teams to ensure timely delivery and cost control.
• Monitor supplier performance, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 4 years of procurement or contracting experience, preferably in a defense or government‑contract environment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret security clearance.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with procurement software and Microsoft Office suite.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).
• Knowledge of cost analysis, total cost of ownership, and risk management.
• Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or similar certification.
