Job Summary
Neuberger Berman is seeking a Private Markets Data Analyst/Senior Associate for its Data Strategy team in Grand Central, Manhattan, US. This role oversees end‑to‑end investment data across Private Equity and Private Credit strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage acquisition, ingestion, and quality control of portfolio data for Primary, Secondary, and Co‑investment private market strategies.
- Act as the first line of defense for data requests, triaging and coordinating responses across all Private Markets divisions.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines, ensuring data accessibility and compliance with internal governance standards.
- Collaborate with portfolio managers, analysts, and technology teams to enhance data infrastructure and reporting tools.
- Conduct data validation, issue resolution, and continuous improvement of data processes.
- Produce analytical reports and dashboards for senior leadership and investment committees.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in data management, analytics, or investment operations within private markets.
- Strong knowledge of Private Equity, Private Credit, and co‑investment structures.
- Proficiency with SQL, Python/R, data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and cloud data platforms.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.

Base salary: $149,210.69 per year.
