Job Summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Principal Product Manufacturing Engineer (Onsite) in Midland, Midland County, US. This senior engineering role leads advanced manufacturing initiatives for aerospace products.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of manufacturing processes for new and existing Pratt & Whitney products.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including design, quality, supply chain, and production—to ensure manufacturability and cost‑effectiveness.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, and advanced analytics to boost productivity and reduce waste.
• Develop and maintain detailed process documentation, work instructions, and technical standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance throughout the product lifecycle.
• Support certification and compliance activities, ensuring all processes meet FAA and internal security requirements.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship or U.S. person status (required for access to program information).
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering; Master’s preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in aerospace product manufacturing engineering.
• Proven expertise in DFMA, GD&T, and advanced manufacturing technologies.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification is highly desirable.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Compensation

Salary range: $194,208.42 per year.

Midland, Midland County, US – onsite at Pratt & Whitney’s Manufacturing Production Center, 8801/8987 Macon Rd, Building MPC.
