Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of manufacturing processes for aerospace products.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure product quality, cost efficiency, and schedule adherence.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and advanced manufacturing techniques.
• Provide technical mentorship to engineering staff and support the qualification of new manufacturing equipment.
• Maintain compliance with all safety, security, and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

• U.S. citizen or U.S. person with the ability to access restricted program information.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in aerospace product manufacturing engineering.
• Proven expertise in process design, tooling, and production line optimization.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T, DFMEA, and APQP methodologies.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with Pratt & Whitney or similar aerospace programs.
• Familiarity with security clearance processes (none required for this role).
• Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt).

This position is onsite at Pratt & Whitney’s Midland facility, located at 8801/8987 Macon Rd, Building MPC.

Compensation

Annual salary: $184,429 (fixed). Additional benefits include health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
