Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure, high‑performance AWS network architectures for large‑scale M&A cloud migrations.
• Lead the migration of VMware workloads to AWS using EVS and HCX technologies, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define migration strategies, timelines, and risk mitigation plans.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams and external partners.
• Develop and maintain architecture documentation, standards, and best‑practice guidelines.
• Conduct performance tuning, capacity planning, and cost‑optimization reviews.
• Travel quarterly to Denver, CO for on‑site workshops, stakeholder meetings, and knowledge transfer sessions.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with a focus on AWS networking (VPC, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, etc.).
• Deep expertise in VMware migration tools, especially EVS and HCX.
• Proven track record delivering large‑scale M&A driven cloud transformations.
• Strong understanding of security, compliance, and networking best practices in AWS.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
