Join Apex Systems in Sun Prairie, Dane County as a contract Power Automate Desktop Developer. This role supports a fast‑growing automation and robotics program, delivering desktop‑level process automation for a leading client.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power Automate Desktop flows to automate repetitive desktop tasks.
• Collaborate with business analysts and technical stakeholders to gather requirements, review designs, and ensure solutions meet functional expectations.
• Participate in the full lifecycle of automation projects – from proof‑of‑concept through testing, deployment, and post‑implementation support.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior automation engineers.
• Document solution architecture, flow logic, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend best‑practice automation strategies.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven hands‑on experience with Microsoft Power Automate Desktop (formerly WinAutomation) in a production environment.
• Strong understanding of RPA concepts, UI automation, and desktop application integration.
• Familiarity with Power Platform components (Power Apps, Power Automate Cloud, Power BI) is a plus.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Education & Certifications
