Job Summary

Axle is seeking a skilled Power Apps / Sharepoint Developer to join our innovative bioscience and IT team in Bethesda, Montgomery County, US. This full‑time role offers a competitive salary of $158,274.77 per year.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain custom Power Apps solutions that integrate with SharePoint and other Microsoft 365 services.
• Collaborate with biomedical researchers and data scientists to translate research requirements into functional applications.
• Create and manage SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, and workflows to support data governance and collaboration.
• Implement security, permissions, and compliance controls in line with HIPAA and other regulatory standards.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and performance tuning for existing solutions.
• Document architecture, code, and user guides; conduct training sessions for end‑users.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and SharePoint development.
• Proficiency in Power Fx, JavaScript, TypeScript, REST APIs, and Azure services.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, relational databases, and integration with clinical/biomedical data sources.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work cross‑functionally with scientists and clinicians.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in biomedical informatics, translational research, or healthcare data environments.
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and source‑control best practices.
• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate.
