Physics Instructor

Mercor is seeking a Physics Instructor to work remotely on a contract basis, supporting AI research labs with expert chart analysis. This part‑time role (20 hours/week) offers competitive hourly rates.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, author, and review technical tasks that assess AI model performance on physics‑related data.
• Analyze chart outputs, identify anomalies, and provide detailed feedback to improve model accuracy.
• Collaborate with AI researchers and data scientists to align evaluation criteria with project goals.
• Document findings in clear reports and maintain a knowledge base for future model iterations.

Required Qualifications

• Advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in Physics, Applied Physics, or a closely related field.
