Job Summary

DOCS Health is seeking a licensed Physician Assistant to work as an independent contractor providing medical services to military service members under the Reserve Health Readiness Program (RHRP). This role is based in Saint Charles, Saint Charles County, US, with primary assignments on weekends and occasional weekdays in Tennessee.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive primary care and urgent care services to active‑duty and reserve military personnel.
• Perform assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans in accordance with military health guidelines.
• Provide preventive health screenings, immunizations, and health education to maintain deployability.
• Document all patient encounters accurately in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and dental teams to coordinate multidisciplinary care.
• Respond to “as‑needed” requests for weekend and occasional weekday coverage in Tennessee.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and military health regulations.

Requirements

• Current state license to practice as a Physician Assistant in the United States.
• National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) certification.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience, preferably with military or veteran populations.
• Ability to work independently as a contractor and make clinical decisions.
• Flexibility to work weekends and travel to Tennessee on short notice.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency with electronic medical record systems.

Compensation & Benefits

Annual salary: $97,992.97 (fixed contract rate). As an independent contractor, you will manage your own taxes and benefits.
