HAYS is seeking a qualified Pharmacovigilance Specialist for a contract role in Lawrenceville, New Jersey, US. This position offers a fixed rate of $58.74 per hour (approximately $79,337 annually).
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, assess, and report adverse event data in compliance with FDA and international regulations.
- Prepare and submit safety reports (e.g., DSUR, PSUR, Periodic Safety Update Reports).
- Maintain and update safety databases, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including clinical, regulatory, and medical affairs to resolve safety issues.
- Conduct signal detection activities and risk management assessments.
- Provide training and guidance to junior staff on pharmacovigilance processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in pharmacovigilance or drug safety.
- Strong knowledge of FDA, EMA, and ICH guidelines.
- Proficiency with safety databases (e.g., Argus, Arisg).
- Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship is not available.
Compensation & Benefits
The role pays $58.74 per hour, equating to an annualized salary of $79,336.92 based on a full‑time schedule. Contract length and potential extensions will be discussed during the interview process.
