Job Summary

The Ford Field & River Club is seeking a part‑time Outdoor Pursuits Specialist in Richmond Hill, Bryan County. This role supports kids’ events, retail sales, and naturalist activities, typically 10 hours per week with the possibility of up to 40 hours during large events.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and executing outdoor programs for children and families.
• Support day‑to‑day retail operations, including sales, inventory checks, and customer service.
• Lead guided nature walks, wildlife talks, and conservation education sessions.
• Set up and break down equipment for events, ensuring safety and compliance with club policies.
• Provide weekend coverage and occasional late‑afternoon/evening shifts as needed.
• Collaborate with staff to promote club events through social media and community outreach.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Passion for outdoor recreation, environmental education, and working with children.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience in retail, event coordination, or naturalist roles preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.

Compensation

Annual salary: $32,753.68 (fixed part‑time rate).
