Key Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Operate advanced ophthalmic equipment such as OCT, fundus cameras, and visual field analyzers.
• Assist physicians with diagnostic testing, laser treatments, and minor surgical procedures.
• Document patient histories, test results, and treatment plans in the electronic medical record.
• Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment and adhere to infection‑control protocols.
• Provide patient education on pre‑ and post‑procedure care and answer routine questions.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT) or Medical Assistant certification preferred.
