GovCIO is seeking an Operations Lead to support the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) background investigation systems. This fully remote, Top Secret‑cleared position is based in Uptown, Marion County, US, with a salary of $114,744 per year.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day operational support for core DCSA system applications, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Monitor system resources, performance metrics, and security logs; proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Coordinate with engineering, security, and client teams to implement updates, patches, and enhancements.
• Maintain documentation of system configurations, SOPs, and incident reports.
• Lead incident response activities, conduct root‑cause analysis, and drive corrective actions.
• Assist with capacity planning, disaster recovery testing, and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Active Top Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain).
• 5+ years of experience in IT operations, preferably within government or defense contracting environments.
• Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux server administration, networking, and database management.
• Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Splunk) and ticketing systems.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
