Operational Technology Security Engineer

Job Summary

The Operational Technology Security Engineer role at Eliassen Group is a remote, permanent position supporting a government client. The role focuses on securing industrial and OT environments based in Mongmong, Mongmong‑Toto‑Maite, US.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain cybersecurity controls for operational technology (OT) systems following DoD and industry standards.
• Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and threat modeling for industrial control systems.
• Develop and enforce security policies, hardening guides, and incident response procedures specific to OT environments.
• Monitor OT networks using SIEM, IDS/IPS, and anomaly detection tools; respond to security alerts and incidents.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and IT teams to integrate security into system design and lifecycle.
• Provide technical guidance and training to stakeholders on OT security best practices.
• Prepare documentation, reports, and compliance evidence for audits and regulatory reviews.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience securing industrial control systems, SCADA, PLCs, or similar OT platforms.
• Strong knowledge of DoD RMF, NIST SP 800‑82, IEC 62443, and other relevant OT security frameworks.
• Hands‑on experience with firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint protection in OT networks.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, GICSP, GICSP‑OT, or CISA preferred.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Compensation

Salary range: $106,626.81 per year.

Remote work; position is based out of Mongmong, Mongmong‑Toto‑Maite, United States.
