Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and test network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls) in AWS data center environments.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless integration of network infrastructure with compute, storage, and power systems.
• Perform cable management, fiber splicing, and termination tasks following industry standards.
• Conduct pre‑deployment checks, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and document all installations.
• Support on‑call rotation to address emergency network outages and perform rapid remedial actions.
• Maintain compliance with safety, security, and Amazon operational procedures.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or technical certification in networking, IT, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience installing and maintaining enterprise‑grade networking equipment.
• Hands‑on knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and data‑center cabling standards.
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
