Job Summary

The Network and Computer Systems Admin, Journeyman at Cayuse Holdings, LLC is responsible for installing, configuring, operating, and maintaining networked computer systems across the United States. Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, switches, routers, firewalls, and related network hardware.
• Monitor system performance, perform regular backups, and apply patches and updates.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, providing intermediate‑level support to end users.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and security policies in Active Directory and other directory services.
• Document system configurations, procedures, and incident reports.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on infrastructure projects and upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and company policies.

Required Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of hands‑on experience in network and systems administration.
• Proficiency with Windows Server, Linux/Unix, and virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V).
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and routing protocols.
• Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios) and backup solutions.
