Job Summary
Fujifilm is seeking an experienced MRO Buyer I to join its procurement team in Wyoming, Kent County, US. This full‑time role supports facility operations by sourcing and purchasing maintenance, repair, and operating (MRO) supplies, capital equipment, and related services.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and develop relationships with reliable vendors for MRO and capital goods.
- Obtain quotes, negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost‑effective solutions.
- Prepare and enter purchase orders accurately in the ERP system, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Track order status, expedite shipments, and resolve any delivery issues or discrepancies.
- Process returns, credits, and warranty claims in coordination with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain up‑to‑date supplier performance records and conduct regular market analysis.
- Collaborate closely with Facility Associates, the Purchasing Supervisor, and other internal teams to forecast demand and manage inventory levels.
- Support compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements related to purchased goods.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
- 1–2 years of purchasing or procurement experience, preferably in MRO or industrial environments.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency with ERP/ purchasing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple orders simultaneously.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally to vendor sites as needed.
Compensation & Benefits
