Job Summary

Fujifilm is seeking an experienced MRO Buyer I to join its Baton Rouge, East Baton Rouge Parish facility. This role supports facility operations by procuring maintenance, repair, and operating supplies, capital equipment, and related services.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and develop a network of reliable vendors for MRO and capital goods.
• Request and evaluate quotes, negotiate pricing, terms, and service agreements.
• Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring accurate entry, timely placement, and proper documentation.
• Monitor order status, expedite deliveries, and resolve any supply chain issues.
• Process returns, manage inventory discrepancies, and maintain accurate procurement records.
• Collaborate closely with Facility Associates to understand needs and provide cost‑effective solutions.
• Maintain compliance with Fujifilm’s purchasing policies and applicable regulations.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or related field preferred.
• 1‑2 years of purchasing or procurement experience, preferably in MRO or manufacturing environments.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency with ERP or procurement software; Microsoft Office suite required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Compensation & Benefits
