MRO Buyer I

Fujifilm is seeking an MRO Buyer I in Trenton, Mercer County, US to manage the procurement of maintenance, repair and operating supplies, capital goods, and services for its facility. This full‑time role reports to the Purchasing Supervisor and works closely with internal teams and external vendors.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and onboard new suppliers for MRO items and capital equipment.
• Request and evaluate quotes, negotiate pricing and terms, and secure best‑value contracts.
• Create and process purchase orders, monitor order status, and expedite deliveries to meet production schedules.
• Manage returns, resolve discrepancies, and maintain accurate procurement records.
• Collaborate with Facility Associates to understand material needs and forecast demand.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
• 1‑2 years of purchasing or MRO procurement experience, preferably in a manufacturing or facilities environment.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with ERP or purchasing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple orders simultaneously.
