Job Summary
Fujifilm is seeking an experienced MRO Buyer I to join its team in Cedar, Cole County, US. This full‑time role supports facility operations by procuring maintenance, repair, and operating supplies, capital equipment and related services.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify and develop relationships with reliable vendors for MRO and capital goods.
- Prepare and issue RFQs, evaluate quotes, negotiate pricing, terms and delivery schedules.
- Create purchase orders, enter orders into the ERP system, and monitor order status to ensure on‑time delivery.
- Expedite shipments, resolve discrepancies, and process returns or credits as needed.
- Collaborate closely with Facility Associates to understand material requirements and forecast demand.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records, contracts and supplier performance metrics.
- Support the Purchasing Supervisor with reporting, spend analysis and cost‑saving initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain or related field preferred.
- 1–2 years of experience in MRO purchasing or a similar procurement role.
- Strong negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with ERP or purchasing software; Microsoft Office suite.
- Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross‑functional team.
Compensation & Benefits
