Job Summary
Actalent is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer in Benson, Douglas County, US. This role leads small to medium‑sized projects, develops processes and maintenance plans, and trains staff on new equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and close small to medium projects with medium complexity, ensuring on‑time delivery and budget adherence.
- Develop detailed work procedures, standard operating instructions, and training materials for new processes, tools, and equipment.
- Define and implement preventative and predictive maintenance strategies, including mechanical evaluations and reliability assessments.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams – design, quality, production, and supply chain – to optimize manufacturing workflows.
- Analyze production data, identify root causes of inefficiencies, and recommend continuous‑improvement initiatives.
- Support equipment qualification, validation, and compliance with safety and industry standards.
- Provide on‑site training and mentorship to operators and technicians.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of hands‑on manufacturing engineering experience, preferably in a production environment.
- Proficiency with CAD/solid modeling software and familiarity with GD&T.
- Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous‑improvement methodologies.
- Experience developing maintenance plans and conducting mechanical evaluations.
- Excellent communication, project management, and problem‑solving skills.

Annual salary: $52,675.93
