Job Summary
Coty is seeking a Manager, Consolidations for its Grand Central, Manhattan office. This senior finance role leads accounting and reporting projects, supports new business initiatives, and ensures accurate consolidation across the group.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute consolidation processes for the New York entity and related subsidiaries.
- Manage special projects involving complex transactions, new reporting requirements, and process improvements.
- Prepare and review group financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
- Collaborate with the Controller function and cross‑functional teams to drive timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Develop and maintain consolidation schedules, intercompany eliminations, and variance analysis.
- Mentor junior accounting staff and provide guidance on technical accounting issues.
- Support external audit activities and respond to auditor inquiries.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in consolidation, group reporting, or controlling within a multinational environment.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, intercompany accounting, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Advanced Excel and data‑analysis skills; experience with financial reporting tools is a plus.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project‑leadership abilities.
Compensation
Base salary: $138,188.28 per year.
