Job Summary

EY is seeking a Senior Consultant – Managed Services AI‑Native Software Engineer to work remotely from anywhere in the United States, with a focus on candidates based in Charleston, Kanawha County. This senior‑level role designs, prototypes, and builds AI‑enabled applications and digital products while acting as a hands‑on solution architect.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement modern, AI‑native software architectures for client‑facing solutions.
• Prototype, develop, and test AI‑enabled applications using machine‑learning frameworks and cloud services.
• Conduct code reviews, ensure best‑practice coding standards, and mentor junior engineers.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Provide technical leadership in Managed Services engagements, including performance tuning and scalability planning.
• Stay current with emerging AI technologies and recommend innovative solutions to clients.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 2 years focused on AI/ML development.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or C# and experience with AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Azure AI.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent problem‑solving skills, communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset.

Preferred Experience

• Experience delivering managed services or consulting engagements for large enterprises.
• Familiarity with DevOps pipelines, CI/CD, and automated testing.
• Certifications in cloud platforms or AI/ML specialties.

Compensation

Salary: $201,490.05 per year (fixed).
