Job Summary

EY is seeking a Senior Consultant – Managed Services AI‑Native Software Engineer in Newburgh Heights, Cuyahoga County, US. This hands‑on Solution Architect role designs, prototypes and builds modern, AI‑enabled applications and digital products for EY’s global clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and document end‑to‑end architectures for AI‑driven solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
• Prototype, develop, and deploy AI‑native software components using cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern frameworks.
• Lead code reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor junior engineers.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including data scientists, product managers, and business analysts—to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Provide technical guidance and thought leadership for managed services engagements.
• Stay current with emerging AI technologies, tools, and industry trends, and recommend innovative approaches.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, with a focus on AI/ML, cloud-native development, and micro‑services architecture.
• Proven expertise in languages such as Python, Java, or C# and frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
• Hands‑on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of data engineering concepts, APIs, and modern DevOps practices.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Compensation

Base salary: $256,123.23 per year (fixed). Additional benefits include health, retirement, and professional development programs.
