Managed Services – AI-Native Software Engineer – Senior Consultant

EY is hiring a Senior Consultant – Managed Services AI‑Native Software Engineer in Uptown, Marion County, US. This hands‑on Solution Architect role focuses on designing, prototyping and building modern AI‑enabled applications and digital products.

Key Responsibilities

• Design end‑to‑end architectures for AI‑driven solutions across multiple industries.
• Prototype, develop, and deliver AI‑native software components using cloud platforms and machine‑learning frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical designs.
• Conduct code reviews, ensure best‑practice standards, and mentor junior engineers.
• Provide technical leadership for managed services engagements, overseeing deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 5 years in AI/ML application development.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or C# and experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar frameworks.
• Strong background in cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Demonstrated ability to design micro‑service architectures and RESTful APIs.
• Excellent communication skills and proven experience working with global, diverse teams.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with data engineering pipelines, big data tools (Spark, Hadoop) and MLOps practices.
• Relevant certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Professional Machine Learning Engineer, etc.).
• Prior consulting or managed‑services exposure in a Big‑4 environment.

Compensation

Annual base salary: $239,812.20
