Job Summary
Home Group is seeking a Maintenance Project Surveyor in Leeds, West Yorkshire. This permanent, full‑time role offers a salary of £35,243.5 per year, 34 days leave (including bank holidays) and a health cash plan.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed surveys of residential properties to assess maintenance needs and project feasibility.
- Prepare accurate reports, cost estimates and project briefs for internal teams and contractors.
- Collaborate with the maintenance and construction teams to prioritise works and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Monitor project progress, resolve issues on‑site and keep stakeholders informed of outcomes.
- Maintain up‑to‑date records in the company’s property management system.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a property or building surveyor, preferably within the residential sector.
- Strong knowledge of UK building regulations, health and safety legislation and refurbishment processes.
- Excellent analytical, communication and report‑writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions that impact project outcomes.
- Proficiency with surveying software and Microsoft Office suite.
