About This Position
Sriven Systems Inc. is seeking a Low Latency Network Engineer for a 12‑month remote contract, supporting datacentres and global colocation sites worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement and optimise low‑latency network solutions across multiple colocation facilities.
- Manage site access, equipment procurement, logistics and capacity planning (power, space, servers, network ports).
- Monitor and improve performance, service availability and connectivity for compute and market‑data delivery.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless integration of network infrastructure with business applications.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for network incidents, ensuring rapid resolution.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in low‑latency network engineering, preferably in financial or high‑frequency trading environments.
- Strong knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), Ethernet fabrics, and optical transport technologies.
- Hands‑on experience with network hardware from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Arista, and Mellanox.
- Proficiency in network monitoring tools, scripting (Python, Bash) and automation frameworks.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication and documentation skills.
Compensation
Annual salary: $115,261.06 (USD)
