Job Summary

Local Contract Nurse RN – Labor and Delivery needed for a 13‑week assignment in Alondra Park, Los Angeles County. Work 36 hours per week on night shifts, providing compassionate care to laboring mothers.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in labor and delivery, including assessments, monitoring, and support during childbirth.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes.
• Administer medications, manage IV therapy, and assist with deliveries as required.
• Document all patient interactions accurately in the electronic health record.
• Educate patients and families on labor processes, postpartum care, and newborn needs.

Requirements

• Current RN license in California.
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience, preferably in labor and delivery.
