Role Overview

Headway is seeking a fully‑licensed Mental Health Therapist to join its remote network. This position offers a competitive salary of $81,678.41 per year and the flexibility to work from anywhere in New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality therapeutic services to clients via video‑conference platforms.
• Manage client caseloads, maintain accurate electronic health records, and submit insurance claims.
• Collaborate with Headway’s administration team to onboard new clients and ensure smooth billing processes.
• Participate in regular supervision, peer‑review sessions and professional development webinars.
• Uphold ethical standards and comply with New Zealand health regulations.

Essential Requirements

• Current full licence as a Mental Health Therapist (e.g., LMHC, LPCMH, LIMHP, LMFT, LMFTS, LCMF) with a Master’s degree or higher.
• At least 2 years of post‑licensure clinical experience.
• Proven ability to conduct therapy remotely, including familiarity with telehealth platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Eligibility to work in New Zealand (NZ citizenship or valid work visa).
