Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of Certified Surgical Technicians, providing on‑the‑job training and performance feedback.
- Coordinate daily scheduling, assignments, and workflow for all Surgical Techs in the operating suite.
- Serve as the primary scrub person during surgeries, managing instruments, supplies, and equipment.
- Maintain strict sterile field protocols and ensure compliance with infection‑control standards.
- Prepare operating rooms before procedures using established set‑up techniques.
- Assist the surgical team with equipment troubleshooting and intra‑operative technical support.
- Document instrument counts, usage logs, and post‑operative cleanup activities.
- Collaborate with nurses, surgeons, and peri‑operative staff to optimize patient safety and surgical efficiency.
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required.
- Minimum 3 years of OR experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead capacity.

- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
