Job Summary

Public Consulting Group is seeking a Lead Analyst, Claims to join its West Trenton, Mercer County office. This role will direct claims analysis, improve processes, and support public‑sector clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of analysts in evaluating, processing, and reporting on claims data for health, education and human services programs.
• Develop and maintain analytical models, dashboards, and performance metrics to identify trends, fraud risks, and cost‑saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with clients, internal stakeholders, and cross‑functional teams to design and implement process improvements.
• Prepare clear, data‑driven recommendations and presentations for senior leadership and external partners.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations governing claims handling.
• Mentor junior analysts, conduct training sessions, and promote best‑practice methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Public Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in claims analysis, audit, or program evaluation, preferably in the public sector.
• Strong proficiency with data analysis tools (SQL, Excel, Power BI, Tableau) and statistical methods.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to convey complex findings to non‑technical audiences.
• Demonstrated leadership experience and project management capabilities.

Compensation

Salary: $67,243.49 annually (fixed).
