Job Summary

GovCIO is seeking an IT Service Technician to deliver onsite technical support for a federal customer in Centennial, CO, United States. This full‑time role offers a salary of $44,344.47 per year.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide on‑site troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of hardware, software, and network equipment for federal end users.
• Respond to service tickets, diagnose issues, and resolve them within SLA targets.
• Install, configure, and upgrade workstations, printers, and peripheral devices.
• Assist with user account management, security updates, and system backups.
• Document all service activities and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Occasionally travel to additional sites for coverage as needed.

Required Qualifications

• A‑level certification (or equivalent).
• ITIL Foundation certification.
• HDI certification.
• Ability to obtain, within six months of hire, one of the following certifications: Security, Network, or Server.
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑service mindset.
• Eligibility to work on federal contracts.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a government or federal IT support environment.
• Familiarity with Windows, macOS, and common enterprise applications.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
