IT Field Service Team Lead

Network IT is hiring an IT Field Service Team Lead in Balsall Heath, Birmingham to manage a team of Field Service Engineers and Administrators delivering on‑site IT support across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of field service engineers and administrative staff.
• Plan and allocate resources to ensure timely on‑site support for a large organisation.
• Act as the senior technical point of contact on client sites, troubleshooting complex IT issues.
• Maintain service level agreements (SLAs) and monitor performance metrics.
• Coordinate with internal departments to improve processes and service delivery.
• Prepare reports, documentation and maintain accurate records of incidents and resolutions.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in a hands‑on IT field service role, preferably with leadership responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, networking, and common business applications.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple sites and travel as required.
• Experience with ticketing systems and ITIL‑based service management.
• Leadership qualities: coaching, performance management and team motivation.
