About This Position
Photon Brothers is hiring an Inventory Accountant in Superior, Boulder County, Colorado. This full‑time role supports the company’s clean‑energy projects by managing inventory records, reconciling stock levels, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update inventory ledgers for solar panels, battery systems, EV chargers, roofing materials, and related components.
- Perform regular cycle counts, reconcile physical stock with accounting records, and investigate discrepancies.
- Prepare monthly inventory valuation reports and assist with cost of goods sold calculations.
- Collaborate with purchasing, warehouse, and project teams to forecast material needs for upcoming installations.
- Support year‑end audit processes and provide documentation for internal and external auditors.
- Utilize ERP/accounting software to streamline inventory tracking and generate analytical insights.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Bachelor’s preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in inventory accounting or cost accounting, preferably in a construction or renewable‑energy environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience using ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage).
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
