About This Position
Mass General Brigham is seeking an Interventional Radiologic Technologist to join its team at The General Hospital in Boston, Suffolk County. Key Responsibilities
- Perform image‑guided interventional procedures, including biopsies, drain placements, and vascular access, under the supervision of radiologists.
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields, set up equipment, and ensure patient safety throughout each procedure.
- Operate and troubleshoot advanced imaging modalities such as fluoroscopy, CT, and ultrasound.
- Document procedures accurately in the electronic health record and assist with post‑procedure patient care and monitoring.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and technologists, to optimize workflow and patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality‑improvement initiatives, radiation safety programs, and continuing education activities.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology; ARRT certification required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in interventional radiology or related procedural imaging.
- Current BLS certification and ability to obtain CPR certification.
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety, infection control, and HIPAA regulations.
- Excellent communication skills and a patient‑focused attitude.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
