About This Position
Join CIMA+ as an Intermediate/Senior Environmental Planner in Gatineau, Outaouais. Work with a dedicated Earth and Environment team that embeds sustainability into every project for public and private clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver comprehensive environmental assessments, impact studies, and mitigation plans.
- Collaborate with engineers, scientists, and certified technicians to integrate green solutions into project designs.
- Conduct field investigations, data collection, and site monitoring across the Outaouais region.
- Prepare technical reports, regulatory submissions, and client presentations that meet provincial and federal standards.
- Provide expert advice on environmental compliance, permitting, and risk management.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to continuous improvement of the team’s sustainability practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Planning, Geography, Ecology, or related field.
- Minimum 3‑5 years of experience in environmental planning or consulting.
- Strong knowledge of Quebec and Canadian environmental regulations and assessment processes.
- Proficiency with GIS, environmental modelling software, and Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French.
- Ability to work independently and as part of multidisciplinary teams.
