Job Summary
The Junior Petroleum Inspector role at Camin Cargo Control Inc. is based in Fife, Pierce County, US. You will support senior inspectors by conducting safety, quality and compliance inspections for oil‑and‑gas operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior inspectors in performing on‑site petroleum inspections, testing equipment, and verifying documentation.
- Collect and record measurement data, photographs and field notes according to company standards.
- Identify non‑conformances and report findings in clear inspection reports.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure all work complies with local, state and federal regulations.
- Support preparation for audits and certification processes.
- Maintain inspection tools and calibrate equipment under supervision.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in engineering, environmental science or related field preferred.
- Entry‑level experience or internship in oil & gas, utilities, or a related technical environment.
- Strong attention to detail, good observational skills and basic technical aptitude.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and safety data sheets.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
