Job Summary

Emerald Resource Group is hiring an Infrastructure Engineer in Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, US. This role focuses on designing, deploying, and maintaining VMware, Veeam, Parallels, Microsoft, and SAN storage solutions while ensuring data protection and disaster‑recovery readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize virtualized environments using VMware and Parallels.
• Implement and manage backup and recovery solutions with Veeam.
• Maintain and troubleshoot SAN storage infrastructure.
• Monitor system performance, capacity planning, and apply patches/upgrades.
• Lead disaster recovery testing and ensure compliance with RTO/RPO targets.
• Collaborate with development and security teams to integrate cloud services.
• Document configurations, procedures, and incident reports.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience with VMware vSphere, Veeam Backup, Parallels, Microsoft Server platforms, and enterprise SAN storage.
• Strong knowledge of networking, virtualization, and storage protocols (iSCSI, Fibre Channel).
• Experience with scripting/automation (PowerShell, Bash) and monitoring tools.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
