Information Security Manager (Contract)

O2E Brands Inc. is seeking an experienced Information Security Manager for a 12‑month contract in Vancouver, Greater Vancouver. The role drives the planning, implementation and ongoing management of the company’s cybersecurity strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, execute and maintain comprehensive information security programs aligned with industry frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS).
• Conduct risk assessments, threat modeling and vulnerability analyses across all IT assets.
• Define security policies, standards and procedures, and ensure organization‑wide compliance.
• Lead incident response activities, coordinate with IT and business units to mitigate threats.
• Provide regular security reporting to senior leadership and recommend prioritised remediation actions.
• Manage security toolsets such as SIEM, DLP, firewalls and endpoint protection.
• Deliver security awareness training and foster a culture of cyber‑risk awareness.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in information security or related IT roles.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, assessment methodologies and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to design and manage security programs in fast‑paced environments.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting complex security concepts to technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC) preferred.
• Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure) and modern DevSecOps practices is a plus.
