About This Position
Bezos Academy is seeking an Inclusion and Family Specialist to join its preschool leadership team in Kent, King County, WA. This role coordinates services for children and families, develops support plans, and acts as the primary liaison with the district and service providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with school leaders to design and implement individualized student support plans.
- Coordinate and oversee all family‑focused services, including workshops, meetings, and classroom interventions.
- Serve as the main point of contact for the local district office, community agencies, and external service providers.
- Provide training and coaching to staff on inclusive practices and family engagement strategies.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of support services and adjust plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Early Childhood Education, Social Work, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict‑resolution skills.
- Ability to lead workshops, facilitate meetings, and build collaborative partnerships.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for occasional site visits.
Compensation & Benefits
