Job Summary

Regions Bank is seeking an Identity and Access Management (IAM) Cloud Engineer to join our team in Bluff Park, Jefferson County, US. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining secure IAM solutions in cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage IAM architectures on public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Implement role‑based access control, single sign‑on, and multi‑factor authentication across enterprise applications.
• Integrate IAM solutions with existing on‑premise directories and security tools.
• Monitor, audit, and remediate access‑related incidents to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Develop automation scripts (Terraform, CloudFormation, PowerShell) to streamline provisioning and de‑provisioning processes.
• Collaborate with security, networking, and application teams to define access policies and best practices.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience with IAM technologies (Okta, Azure AD, AWS IAM, SailPoint).
• Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and infrastructure‑as‑code tools.
• Strong understanding of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2).
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Experience

• Industry certifications (CISSP, AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Azure Security Engineer Associate).
• Knowledge of zero‑trust architectures and privileged access management.
• Background in financial services compliance requirements.
