Job Summary

Regions Bank is seeking an Identity and Access Management (IAM) Cloud Engineer in Nashville, Davidson County, US. This role will design, implement, and maintain secure IAM solutions in a cloud environment to protect sensitive data and support business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and manage IAM services on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Implement role‑based access control, single sign‑on, and multi‑factor authentication across applications.
• Collaborate with security, compliance, and IT teams to enforce policies and standards.
• Conduct regular access reviews, audits, and remediation of privilege escalations.
• Develop automation scripts (Terraform, CloudFormation, PowerShell) to provision and manage IAM resources.
• Monitor IAM logs, investigate incidents, and respond to security alerts.
• Provide technical guidance and training to developers and system administrators.
• Stay current with industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and emerging IAM technologies.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience with IAM solutions in a cloud environment.
• Strong knowledge of AWS IAM, Azure AD, or Google Cloud IAM, including policies, roles, and federation.
• Proficiency in scripting/automation languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash) and IaC tools.
• Understanding of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2) and compliance mandates.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Experience

• Certifications such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Azure Security Engineer Associate, or similar.
• Experience with identity governance tools (Okta, SailPoint, Azure AD Premium).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
