Job Summary

Walgreens is seeking a Hybrid Pharmacist to work four days on‑site at retail locations across North Carolina and one day per week remotely from High Point, Guilford County. This role ensures safe compounding, dispensing, review and verification of medications while supporting centralized pharmacy services.

Key Responsibilities

• Compound, dispense, review and verify prescription medications in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Provide clinical counseling and medication therapy management to patients both in‑store and via telepharmacy.
• Collaborate with store pharmacists, technicians, and the call‑center team to ensure seamless operations.
• Support centralized services such as medication synchronization, prior authorization, and inventory management during remote workday.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the pharmacy management system and ensure compliance with Walgreens policies.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and staff training.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist license in North Carolina.
• Minimum 1‑2 years of retail pharmacy experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of compounding, medication safety, and regulatory standards.
• Excellent communication skills for patient counseling and team collaboration.
• Proficiency with pharmacy software and willingness to work in a hybrid environment.
