The HVAC Panel Wire Technician role at AboveAir Technologies is based in Frederick, Frederick County, US. You will install, wire, and troubleshoot panels for industrial and commercial HVAC systems in a manufacturing plant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret and follow blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to assemble HVAC control panels.
  • Perform precise wire routing, termination, and labeling according to industry standards.
  • Conduct electrical testing, insulation resistance checks, and functional verification of completed panels.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve wiring faults, component failures, and system malfunctions.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, HVAC, and maintenance teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical and mechanical components.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including as‑built drawings, test reports, and compliance records.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, PPE requirements, and OSHA regulations.
  • Utilize manual wiring tools, crimping equipment, and testing instruments safely and efficiently.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in electrical work preferred.
  • Experience wiring and troubleshooting HVAC control panels in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, crimpers, multimeters, megohm testers, and other wiring equipment.
  • Knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70, and local electrical codes.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Willingness to work in a fast‑paced plant environment and lift moderate loads.

Compensation & Benefits
