Job Summary

YNAB is seeking a Humbly Confident Data Analyst to join its US‑based team. This full‑time role offers a competitive salary between $85,000 and $110,000 and focuses on turning complex data into actionable insights that help people master their money.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and validate large datasets from multiple sources (product usage, finance, marketing, etc.).
• Design and maintain dashboards and reports that track user behavior, product performance, and financial metrics.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and customer success teams to define data‑driven goals and evaluate feature impact.
• Develop predictive models to identify churn risk, user segmentation, and revenue opportunities.
• Present findings clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders, translating numbers into strategic recommendations.
• Implement and improve data pipelines and ETL processes using SQL, Python, or similar tools.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience as a data analyst or business analyst.
• Proficiency in SQL and a statistical language such as Python or R.
• Experience with BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI) and data visualization best practices.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to ask the right questions and solve ambiguous problems.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, humble attitude.

• Experience in SaaS or fintech environments.
