Head of Workplace

The Head of Workplace at Zoom will lead all Workplace Operations for Zoom’s global sites (excluding China) from our headquarters in Archer, Laramie County, US. This senior role ensures safe, efficient, compliant and cost‑effective office environments that support Zoom’s business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct daily operations for Zoom’s worldwide office portfolio, overseeing facilities maintenance, repairs, space planning and health‑and‑safety compliance.
• Develop and enforce global operational standards, ensuring consistency across regions while allowing for local adaptations.
• Manage vendor selection, contracts and performance for cleaning, security, catering, furniture, and other site services.
• Lead a cross‑functional team of facilities managers, project coordinators and support staff, fostering a high‑performance, employee‑focused culture.
• Drive cost‑optimization initiatives, budgeting and financial reporting for workplace spend.
• Partner with HR, Real Estate, Security and IT to align workplace strategy with employee experience and business growth.
• Implement sustainability and ESG initiatives, tracking metrics such as energy usage and waste reduction.
• Ensure business continuity and emergency preparedness across all locations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive facilities or workplace operations experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing multiple international sites.
• Proven track record of managing large vendor ecosystems and delivering cost‑saving programs.
• Strong knowledge of global health, safety and regulatory compliance standards.
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management and change‑leadership skills.
• Ability to analyze data, build business cases and make data‑driven decisions.
